Poetry by Ritual Abuse Survivors

Ritual Abuse,
Ritual Crime
and Healing

Untitled

A flower was taken
Trampled and crushed
Its fragrance pouring out
Running into the ground
Leaving a scent of remembrance
Petals protecting the core
Were ripped away one for one
Leaving only the naked
Stem and bud
For coldness to engulf and possess
For the beauty is gone
