Where is the child...
who chases sweet dreams?
Where is the child...
who's slipping away?
She's clinging to hope...
drowning in tears.
Looking for love...
finding black dust.
She's feeling cold chills...
hearing the silence.
Living with lies...
drowning in fear.
She's reaching for love...
while crying in pain.
When will she find...
one person who cares?Just open your heart...
hold out your arms.
Take her within...
help her forget.
Forget dark times...
all the cruel love.
Let her just have...
a night of deep sleep.
To dream in a place...
where hurt is locked out.
To sleep in a bed...
where pain is no more.
One wouldn't think...
this too much to ask.
But one doesn't know...
the secrets she holds.
