Beckylane (1995) Where the rivers join: A personal account of healing from ritual abuse. Press Gang: Vancouver, BC, Canada. A beautiful book that captures the lonely essence of healing.

Blood, Linda Osborne. (1994) The new satanists. Warner: NY, NY. The history of satanism, details of documented ritual abuse cases, and information about current satanic groups and organizations. Includes material on Michael Aquino and the Presidio day-care center.

Brown, Dee. (1996) Satanic ritual abuse: A therapist's handbook. Blue Moon Press, 1255 Ogden, Ste. 307, UT. A warm, encouraging introduction to the treatment of adult survivors of ritual abuse, written for therapists beginning work in this area.

Kennedy, William H. (2004) Lucifer's lodge: Satanic ritual abuse in the Catholic Church. Sophia Perennis, Hillsdale, NY.

Oksana, Chrystine. (1994) Safe passage to healing: A guide for survivors of ritual abuse. Harper Perennial, NY. NY. The most complete book on healing from ritual abuse available. If you only buy one book, make it this one.

Newton, Michael. (1993) Raising hell: An encyclopedia of devil worship and satanic crime. Avon Books, NY, NY. Short, accurate summaries of various topics.

Noblitt, J. R. and Perskin, Pamela. (1995) Cult and ritual abuse: Its history, anthropology, and recent discovery in contemporary America.. (2000) Revised edition. Praeger, Westport, CT. Mostly history and analysis, but some material on therapeutic technciques. Extrememly well researched and documented.

Rich, Mary and Jose, Carol. (1996) Evil web: A true story of cult abuse and courage. Horizon Press: Far Hills, NJ. About abuse in a Christian-based cult, the author's escape, her fight to find and reclaim her children, and the successful criminal prosecution against the cult leader, Ronald Larrinaga.

Richardson, Anna. (1997) Double vision: A travelogue of recovery from ritual abuse. Trilogy Books, Pasadena, CA.

Smith, Margaret. (1993) Ritual Abuse: What It Is, Why It Happens, How to Help. HarperSanFrancisco, San Francisco, CA. A general introduction to RA and healing, written by a survivor/multiple, with a chapter on leaving the cult --- a topic seldom discussed..

Spencer, J. (1997) Satan's high priest: A true story. Biography of a small-town high priest, his family, and his loss of power within and outside of the cult. Good introduction for those unfamiliar with ritual abuse.

Terry, M. (1987) The ultimate evil: An investigation into a dangerous satanic cult. Bantam Books, NY, NY. An extensive investigation of the Son of Sam murders, linking them to a national network of cults.

Weinstein, Harvey. (1990) Psychiatry and the CIA: Victims of mind control. American Psychiatric Press: Washington, D.C. Dr. Weinstein's account of his father's abuse at the hands of Dr. Ewen Cameron and the successful fight to win judgments against the Canadian government.

Woodsum, Gayle M. (1998) The ultimate challenge: A revolutionary, sane and sensible response to ritualistic and cult-related abuse. Action Resources International, Laramie, WY. Practical sugestions for safety and healing.
